Fields of practice
Vytautas Kalmatavičius is a partner at the Lithuanian office of Triniti and is the head of its Real Estate and Construction practice. Vytautas also has vast experience in the issues of insolvency and bankruptcy, banking law, corporate law, intellectual property, litigation, recognition and enforcement of judgments.

Professional experience
During his studies at the Law Faculty of Vilnius University, Vytautas worked with the AAA Baltic Service Company.

In 2004, Vytautas became a partner in the law firm ReLaw, renowned for its excellent work in Intellectual Property and Real Estate law, and after the merger with SSJ at the beginning of 2008, he continues to practice at Triniti.

Education
Vytautas finished a master’s degree in law at the Law Faculty of Vilnius University in 2001.

He has also obtained a degree in finance from Vilnius College of Higher Education, Lithuania.

Languages
Vytautas is fluent in Lithuanian, English and Russian.

Extra-curricular
Since 2010, Vytautas has been a board member of the Lithuanian Association of Banks’ Clients. In addition, Vytautas actively participates in the process of legislation on insolvency, is a member of the Economic Committee in the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas) and of a working group on the banks’ activities and Insolvency at the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy.

Vytautas likes swimming, fishing and travelling with his family.
